How can I book a hotel in Tacloban Philippines when I am in another country?

I live in Australia and all airlines have ceased contracting to hotels in Philippines. I have been to 3 travel agents and they all say that they can book me flights to Philippines but not accomodation.

It is not possible to get any brochures on Philippines. They advised all airlines has ceased involvment in promoting the country.

How can I book a hotel besides calling them directly? Are there any internet sites?

"They advised all airlines has ceased involvment in promoting the country." That I so sad. Well, I'd be more than happy to help you book accomodations to Tacloban. It's pretty simple really.

Try surfing www.Asia Hotels.com

Google hotels and I am sure you will find a site that will hook you up.

I searched yahoo for hotels, tacloban city. Search for Mcarthur Park resort or Leyte Park resort, i have stayed in both, both are nice and quiet. Leyte Park resort is nicer, and about 75 usd a night, mcarthur park is about 57 usd a night
