18 is the legal age here.. you dont get to do anything different when you turn 21 in australia, everything is at 18. so you can stay in a hotel at 18 in sydney =]
Its 18... But you are wrong about the US its strictly 21.... I was 15 when i first travelled to the US and i made hotel reservations and i had no problems at all... I still continue to visit the US 3 or 4 times a year and i still have no trouble making reservations (im only 20....)
In Australia, the age of majority is 18. 18 year olds can drink, vote, marry, sign contracts, make hotel reservations, everything.
the accommadation areas of hotels are not subject to prohibitions for under 18 year olds.
If you have the money or the card, book it.
It is 18 as you are considered an adult by that age. It is also the legal drinking age.
it's 18 all over australia. you can also purchase alcohol at 18 here, unlike the USA.
I didn't know there was an age limit, I have stayed in hotels since I was 15, but I am guessing that if there is a min age it would be 18. 18 here is an adult.
18 is the legal age in Australia..
You have to be 18 to drink, smoke, vote, sign papers.. etc..
No minimum age, as long as you have I.D and money to pay for it!
