Haha, I have a friend that can get some hook up because he's friends with the manager at one place.. Sometimes friends offer others things at free of charge or even lesser.
So, either work there, or find someone and get close to that person, chill and stuff, and you may just get lucky.

Hotels all reduce their prices if they are not sold. Rather a small earning than nothing at all. Visit http://www.findaroom.org which handles a wide range of hotels and different suppliers.

If you have a local travel agent, go see her after you've gotten your prices on the Internet.
