Crowne Garden Hotel
They have a promo.. for a room with double bed/ matrimonial bed, aircon, tv, wi-fi, medium refrigerator, en-suite bathroom, bathtub, hot and cold shower and breakfast for two... is only PHP1,300 ($32.5)
my wife and i have been to cebu twice in the past several months, both times with our one-year old as well. the first time, we stayed at mariott and the second time we stayed at parklane. i'd recommend these two hotels for the following baby-relevant reasons:
1. they're clean
2. the floors are carpeted, something which matters a lot if your baby loves to move around and explore (as is the case with most one-year olds)
3. the service is pretty good. need to have the beds and tables moved to make your room more baby friendly? room service is there in just minutes to take care of that.
4. both hotels are very centrally located, i.e., very near ayala center. this way, if you're meeting up with old friends or family and your baby feels sleep or cranky all of a sudden, it won't be hard to go back to the hotel to give him/her a nap/feeding/diaper change/whatever.
rates are slightly more expensive than usual (around P3,000.00 per night - that's around $75), but it's totally worth it.
one more thing: breakfast buffets at the mariott --- THE BEST!!!
You can stay at Vacation Hotel or Cebu Grand Hotel at Escario Street, price not over P1,000/day.
Waterfront is the best hotel in Cebu service and cleanliness in incomparable to the other hotels. Don't stay in Cebu Midtown you may be fooled by the low rates but the hotel is very old and it stinks.
You can also try these hotels they are not 5 stars but their service and facilities are in tip top condition. Park Hotel is near ayala its new. If you are looking at budget hotel you can try Mango Park Hotel.
