In my experience it can be possible to get cheaper flights if you are willing to take a risk and book last minute, but hotel rooms seem to me to always be cheaper booked through an agent.
You have to shop around but the best sites ive used for both flights and hotels were
some do offers with both hotel and flight and some do a better seperate deal you just have to shop around

you can definitely save a lot if you book your flight and hotel together! :) but you can also try looking into the prices of flights and hotel separately. it won't really hurt. ;p

I think it is cheaper to book separately. I have always found that the travel sites charge slightly more for the flight and hotel, and then add in a whole bunch of taxes and fees that the airline and hotel directly wouldn't charge. You might want to try cheapflights.com to see what airline and hotel they give you for the best price, and then go to those sites directly to compare the price and see which is a better deal.
