How expensive is it to rent a hotel ballroom?

It's my 16th birthday and I want to throw a bigger party, because I haven't had one since 4th grade. BUT I'm on a tight budget. So I'm wondering if a hotel ballroom would be too expensive and I should just stick with a park lodge.
