What is the best hotel to stay at to get to Pimlico Race Course?

I want to stay at a hotel in the Baltimore area which is right near one of the mass-transit stops and easy access to get to the Pimlico Race Course on the weekend.

Also, can anyone tell me what the stop/type of transit I'm looking for if I would want to stop at Pimlico?
