I like the Port Orleans Riverside on the Disney property. Its nestled on the river, only a 10 minute boat ride to Downtown Disney, it has old man island, several swimming pools, Boatwrights restaurant, a huge food court, and provide free transportation to and from the airport and the parks. The Gaylord Palms is a beautiful hotel and is located in a great location. There are plenty of things to do in the hotel and good resturants too.
There are great vacation rentals available near Disney. They are less costly then a hotel and have more then enough room for an entire family. The resorts have fantastic pools and everything else you would want...... and more.

I always stay at Orange Lake. It is a great facility and close to everything.
We stayed at the Seralago and it has free shuttle. It is reasonably priced and it is close to strip malls , which gives you a nice romantic walk.
