How old do you have to be to stay at a hotel in California?

I plan on moving but for the mean time I might stay in a hotel until I get an apartment? By the time I move I will be 19. Will they let me stay there along with my friend who is 18?

Yes as long as your 18. Also look for better deals at hotels that charge by the week. I have one real nice one by my house and you pay and then they will give you 100 dollars back so check em out beofre you go. Get the best deals that way, =) Have fun and please be safe.

18. At hotels that are not set up as residence hotels, they need you to move by the 28th day, or else rental laws kick in, so just be aware. Also, it gets very expensive. Look on craigslist for bargains, even temporary rentals.

Usually they will let you rent a room if you are 18. I've been to places before that made you be 25 but that was renting condos for the week and not just a room. I've been renting rooms since I was 20 and never had a problem.

Some places require you to be 21 to check in and some places require you to be 18. I found a few places that said 18...just call the hotel and ask.

You can stay at the most places. Act like you did that already for years, and nobody will ask you stupid questions.

you need id and credit card and over 18 to get the room but any one any age can be there with you cause you are the one registering
