Know a good hotel in Kent for a 30th birthday?

I am hoping to hold a bday party for my 30th somewhere in Kent or countryside - Tunbridge Wells for example. I am looking for a nice hotel to serve drinks and canapes for the evening. I would be grateful if anyones knows somewhere good or could recommend a good restaurant or venue. About 50 people and good budget. I've looked on the internet and have a few ideas but I would rather have a recommendation. Thanks!

Chilston Park, great place to party. In Lenham near Maidstone. Have your party and treat yourself to an overnight stay. Try and get the Cromwell Suite, can sleep up to 5, and is haunted. Fab!

Kent Washington?

The "Who'd a thought it" 15th Centry inn in Grafty Green. They have a website. We had an absolutely lovely meal and evening there last week for our wedding anniverary. Hosts very hospitable, lovely beamed building and great atmosphere.
